For more than 20 years I've worked in various roles across the nonprofit sector. One thing I've witnessed more times than I can count is how often I've come across passionate, mission-driven founders and leaders who have the fire and desire to create an impactful and lasting change in their community... but not an equal level of financial acumen to keep the organization around long enough to see that impact realized down the line. As a proud Howard graduate, it was instilled in me to not only have a positive impact on my family's well being but the community at large. Because of this I decided to return to school to pursue a Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA), specializing in finance and entrepreneurship. I attended Simon Business School in Rochester, NY and upon finishing my studies began working as a senior finance manager for Procter and Gamble. At the same time I began serving as treasurer on the board for an arts and leadership non-profit based in Brooklyn, NY. I then moved on to pursue a role as a Director of Operations Fellow for Uncommon Schools at Rochester Prep High School. A year later I began as treasurer on the board for another arts organization based in Washington, DC. At the start of 2022 I opened the virtual doors to TrúFaith Financial Consultants. I have successfully worked with a number of satisfied clients that have endorsed my work ethic, skills, and ability to raise the bar for them financially and organizationally. From Baltimore to Rochester, Washington, DC to San Francisco; I have been providing professional consulting services to arts, religious, and civic-community organizations. From financial planning to organizational strategy, my focus is always on building an efficient and results-driven relationship.
